some question about the Opportunity Card.
Hey everyone, I have some question about the Opportunity Card. 1) My education is recognized by Anabin, but I completed my Bachelor’s in 2021, which means it’s been 4 years. Does this time gap affect my eligibility to apply for the Opportunity Card without having to use the points system? 2) In case i have to go through the Point system i have IELTS B2 in Academic Training and I'm planning on doing German A2 soon. Is the IELTS B2 in Academic is enough for English proficiency or it should be B2 in General Training to recognized for the points?
Digitisation of German visa
https://rb.gy/ske7l7 In its recent moves, Germany has, first of its kind in its history, started digitising visa applications for work and studies! Process time has reduced significantly from around 6-8 months to 1-2 months which is a great deal of time saving for us! I, myself, blindly applied for then Job Seekers visa and waited for around 8 months and later got appointment on VFS Global which I didn't opt for due to personal reasons. In the advent of introduction of Chancenkarte, this digitisation will be a great deal for us!
About Studienvorbereitung Visum
As not many people are aware of this visa and less information is available on the internet. I would like to give some information about it. I see it as a good opportunity for some one who decide to study in Germany for German taught Bachelors or Masters programme and started to study German. Its an option for people who are NOT WORKING AND ONLY DOING INTENSIVE GERMAN COURSE in their home country. This visa allows you to do German language course in Germany, Apply for university, recent law change also allows to do part time (20h/w) and start your Bachelors or Masters also change to student visa. This visa allows you to stay for 9 month and look for university (by rule) but there are some cases they give more than that. By using this visa wisely, you can study German in Germany at a very reasonable price just like in your home country. Additionally, you also get all student benefits if you enrolled for German course in any university. Main advantage I see here is that, you will get buffer time before starting your study's so that you might already be settled, might have part time job and already gotten used to the environment so that it is not overwhelming at the time of starting your study programme. NOTE: Please also use your own research. This is information based on what happened to me until May 2024.
