As not many people are aware of this visa and less information is available on the internet. I would like to give some information about it. I see it as a good opportunity for some one who decide to study in Germany for German taught Bachelors or Masters programme and started to study German. Its an option for people who are NOT WORKING AND ONLY DOING INTENSIVE GERMAN COURSE in their home country. This visa allows you to do German language course in Germany, Apply for university, recent law change also allows to do part time (20h/w) and start your Bachelors or Masters also change to student visa. This visa allows you to stay for 9 month and look for university (by rule) but there are some cases they give more than that. By using this visa wisely, you can study German in Germany at a very reasonable price just like in your home country. Additionally, you also get all student benefits if you enrolled for German course in any university. Main advantage I see here is that, you will get buffer time before starting your study's so that you might already be settled, might have part time job and already gotten used to the environment so that it is not overwhelming at the time of starting your study programme.
