Turned a confusing n8n workflow into something my friend could actually use. πŸš€
He's in SEO guest posting β€” his job is to reach out to website owners, negotiate placements, and build backlinks at scale. The problem? He had a huge list of authors and websites but was stuck using the same email template for everyone, doing it all manually.
I built him an automated workflow to handle the outreach, but when I delivered it, he couldn't figure out how to use it. Totally fair β€” n8n isn't exactly beginner-friendly.
So I took it a step further.
I built a clean frontend using Google AI Studio and Vercel, and connected it to the n8n workflow running just 4 nodes β€” Webhook Trigger β†’ Edit Fields β†’ Send Email β†’ Respond to Webhook. Simple, fast, and reliable.
Now he has an interface he can actually navigate without my help. The AI personalizes each email based on the author and website. He just uploads his list and hits send.
I've attached a quick video walkthrough of how it works, along with two screenshots β€” the before (raw n8n workflow) and the after (the clean UI he uses now).
Have you ever built something for a client or a friend, only to realize the real challenge wasn't building it β€” it was making it usable? Drop your experience in the comments πŸ‘‡
