How Teaching Automation Became Something I Truly Enjoy
There’s this feeling I can’t really explain, that moment when someone finally understands how automation works, and you can see the excitement on their face. That’s the reason I started offering tutorials. Not to sell anything, but because I genuinely enjoy helping people figure things out and take control of their own systems.
One of my recent clients came to me wanting to learn how to build workflows on n8n. His main goal wasn’t just to automate tasks, he wanted to understand how everything connected so he could manage it himself. The problem was, most tutorials he found online were either too complicated or just rushed through everything.
So, I took a different approach. I walked him through the process step by step, explaining things in a way that made sense, no heavy tech talk, no shortcuts. We worked with n8n, Google Sheets, and Webhook modules, building something real while he learned.
The hardest part was keeping things simple without skipping the important bits. But by taking it slow and showing real examples, he got it. The best part? He later messaged me saying, “Now I finally understand how it all works.” That meant everything to me, because sometimes, the most rewarding projects aren’t the ones you build, but the ones where you help someone else build theirs.
