Maryland Market Update: Effective October 1, 2025 (SB 160/HB 124)
You must have a written disclosure or "sellers acknowledgement" of your intentions to assign a deal and DO NOT hold a professional Real Estate Agent. Jerry Norton has provided an UPDATED CONTRACT witht the necessary verbiage to align with these changes.
This new law only applies to "Owner-Occupied" properties and not Vacant. However, the distinction is defined as what constitutes what a "Wholesaler" is and what their role is when it comes to assignments, double closings or novations while doing wholesaling in Maryland.
