Service dogs are attacked by non-service dogs far more often than people realize. When someone says, “If they let dogs in the store, mind your business,” it overlooks an important reality: service dog teams rely on safe public access.
This is the business of service dog teams because an aggressive or uncontrolled dog doesn’t just endanger another dog — it endangers a disabled person. Respecting the difference between service dogs and pets protects everyone.
In the new year, we will have more sessions and education on WHY it’s important for non service dog owners to follow the laws and leave pets and ESA at home. It’s not just about the dog but the disabled handlers life.
We hope you’ll be able to join us!
