Your Rising Sign and Other Important Points
Hi Astrology Lovers - tonight we're going to be looking at the 4 most important points on your chart - The Ascendant, Descendant, Mid-Heaven and Nadir. You need to know your birth-time to find these points. When you get to class tonight I'll generate your chart on my software and screen-share so you can see what yours are, and then we'll talk about it. If you'd like to message me with your birth-info now please do so - birth date, time and place.
And if you are wondering what is the difference between your RISING SIGN and your ASCENDANT - the Rising Sign is whichever zodiac sign was on the eastern horizon at the moment you were born. The Ascendant is the DEGREE of that sign that was exactly on the horizon (signs have 30 degrees each) and that degree is the STARTING POINT for your chart just as the Dawn is the starting point for the Day.
