Race Week Questions: What Is Already Making Race Morning Hard?
Race morning gets easier when the hard part is named before meet day.
Pick the first thing that usually goes wrong:
- no appetite before leaving
- nervous stomach
- breakfast timing is unclear
- travel makes food choices random
- athlete forgets recovery food
- parent and athlete disagree about the plan
Reply with the item and the meet start window. Keep it general; do not post medical details about a minor.
Boundary: this is general planning, not medical advice. For symptoms, injury, fainting, eating disorder concerns, rapid weight loss, menstrual loss, stress fracture, or lab questions, use a qualified clinician.
