One thing I've learned while rebuilding different areas of my life is this...
Sometimes we don't quit because the work is hard.
We quit because reality didn't match our expectations.
We start a YouTube channel expecting views.
We launch a business expecting customers.
We begin a fitness journey expecting quick results.
When those expectations aren't met, something changes.
We post less.
We stop showing up.
We begin questioning whether it's even worth continuing.
The project didn't fail.
Our expectations did.
I've realized that momentum isn't built by getting immediate results—it's built by continuing when the results aren't there yet.
Maybe the better question isn't:
"Why isn't this working?"
Maybe it's:
"Am I willing to keep building even if it takes longer than I expected?"
What project in your life has challenged your expectations the most?
