I made a small change this week that felt big 😳.
I raised the prices in the shop tied to my IG account.
I sell digital products. It’s not something I heavily promote & for a while, I knew I was underpricing them, but I kept them there because it felt “safer" & more accessible.
I felt bad charging more but at the same time felt like I was disrespecting my work.
So recently. .. actually, TODAY, I adjusted the prices
No announcement. 😬
Since I don’t push my products hard, and my competitors still charge more than I do, I didn’t feel it required a big conversation.
Now I’m curious about the bigger picture:
Have you ever raised your prices without announcing it because you realized you were underpricing?
Or is it just me, crazy Denisse? 😹
And more broadly… do you think underpricing is one of the hidden reasons people struggle to hit “minimum viable income”?
I’m starting to wonder how often the issue isn’t traffic or strategy — but math and self-perception like in my case.
