The Vault price goes up at midnight
This has been a crazy couple of weeks thanks to the Vault promo + life stuff, BUT... we're close to the end now, so... allow me to share this promo here in the group one last time: Just in case you missed my almost two-week-long promo... I'm raising the price of the Vault from $27/month to $37/month tonight (May 15), at midnight EST. If you wanna save even more, you can sign up and lock in the yearly rate, which is $197/year, which comes down to ~$16.4/month, which comes down to ~54 cents a day. (After midnight tomorrow, the yearly price will go up to $370.) Come join the adventure: https://thesideblogger.com/members If you wanna know what's inside the Vault: It is made for creator-educators who want to create an income source from sharing and teaching their skills, expertise, knowledge, and ideas, with blogs and newsletters, primarily. To that end, inside the Vault, you'll find : - the resources to help you write the kind of content that attracts those you can help - tactics to build an email list of potential buyers - getting website traffic - creating offers - selling offers And more. Cheers ✌️

Start here and read 'em community rules!
This group is for The Side Blogger Vault members (exceptions have been made for early supporters). Our shared goal is to monetize our ideas, expertise, skills, etc., with our blogs and newsletters. So, to that end... ______ ‼️𝙋𝙖𝙮 𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙚 𝙁𝙄𝙑𝙀 𝙧𝙪𝙡𝙚𝙨: →Create an intro post after you join the group, ASAP (aim to do so within the first 2 days of joining). Tell us a little about you and your business. Feel free to share one link to your website or newsletter. → This is NOT a community for promoting your offers, unless specifically asked. (Except for in your intro post or when asking for feedback) → Engage. This isn't for lurkers. Make sure to engage at least once a month; more is always welcome, of course. → Share stuff that's relevant and/or useful to fellow members. Do not clutter this space with unnecessary pontification or gratuitous platitudes. → Last but not least, be cool, respectful, and responsible ❓𝘼𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 "𝙁𝙚𝙚𝙙𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠" 𝙧𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙨: Read the rules of asking for or giving feedback here. ______ Welcome to Anthill :)
Multiple subscriptions...?
I have a lot of respect for folks who run multiple subscriptions. One is hard enough.... But some people do it pretty well. Like... look at Travis Sago. I talked about him a few times recently, and even mentioned one of his books in my emails... Fans and Fortunes Formula... which inspired me to create some of my own recent low-risk, low-effort, quick win offers, which I'll be workshopping with you guys on the 21st (sign up here if you haven't yet, btw.) Now, Travis runs multiple subscriptions simultaneously, and somehow that works. In fact, I think he has offer overlaps, AND some people may even subscribe to at least two Skool groups.... Anyway, the idea of multiple subscriptions has been bouncing around in my head, and I needed an outlet, so here you go. I personally do not have the bandwidth to create a second subscription under the same business, not yet, anyway. But I was thinking if it would be worthwhile to maybe consider a separate subscription, outside of The Side Blogger. Speaking of subscriptions... I've also been reading a book called Retention Economics by a guy named Thomas Lalas (who is, for some reason, a member of the Vault... probably because he wanted to support my business... oh well...🙃)... and it has me daydreaming about multiple subscriptions.... I'm also wondering if I should ask him to come have a chat with my members about subscriptions and retentions... no promises tho... considering I haven't even talked to him, and he may very well not want to... but yeah, anyway... just thinking out loud. All that said... are there any of you who already have a membership or subscription business? If not, are you planning to start one? And if you already do, thoughts on multiple subscriptions???

Back from Recess
Hello Anthill community, Well… I joined this community in hopes that everything would click—content creation, marketing, etc.—because being stuck in limbo is just no fun. While in limbo, I gained wrinkles and stress because I was holding myself back for a few reasons: I was not ready, not comfortable, and I lacked enthusiasm. I felt like the Mojave. Dry. I’m not a dry person by nature. I mean, I’ll stare at you and contemplate what to say in hopes of keeping the conversation going, because there have been moments when I should have refrained from saying something. Then I’d immediately regret what I said, realizing there was no way to take it back. Truth. Not to mention, this required commitment. At times, I felt like the walls were closing in on me. Feeling this way, I gave myself a red card. I needed to step out and regroup. For me, I knew that honesty, integrity, and maintaining my self-worth were values I wanted to preserve. There was something inside telling me to take a break. There was something more that I wanted to pursue. My heart wanted to be in that place—a place of serenity, peace, and excitement all in one. Once I spotted it and truly focused on it, I dove in headfirst. I finally found my purpose here. Someone once said to me that I could have earned a PhD with all the schooling I had under my belt. (Ouch; 😅) To this, I say: Schools don’t offer everything. They follow strict guidelines and are limited in what they can provide, and for that, they cannot be blamed. At the same time, it goes to show that if everything were placed in front of us at the drop of a hat, we might intuitively discover earlier in life what truly brings us joy. I’m here to say: Do not ever give up on what can bring joy to your life. NEVER. Keep searching. However, we will always need to learn how to market ourselves... Whether we are selling something or not—because we should be speaking up about the solutions we’ve discovered. Therefore, I vow to never give up—and neither should you.
Mastering Medium With Dan Foster (Recording)
Yesterday's session on Mastering Medium in 2026 with @Dan Foster was simply fantastic! I've been wanting to get back on Medium as a discovery channel for my main blog + newsletter, but I kept wondering if it'd be a good use of my time or not... After listening to Dan, I'm ready to get back on it ASAP. Medium is useful on two fronts, from what I can tell: - You can make a decent income from it. Dan consistently makes between $5k and $10k from there. Just last month, Dan made ~$7.5k just from Medium's Partner Program - It can be a discovery channel for your primary business, newsletter, and even offers, where Medium acts like a medium- to long-form social media platform for you. After you've gone through the mastery session, if you have any questions, Dan is in this group, fyi, so feel free to ask him anything (tag him so he knows that you're asking him a question). So yeah, anyway. Here's the recording (free if you're a Vault member, and if you're not, you can always sign up. It's $27/month until May 15, then jumps up to $37/month). https://members.thesideblogger.com/mastery-sessions/mastering-medium-in-2026-with-dan-foster/ You can find Dan here: - Medium - Skool
