Most people think survival mode only happens after a major trauma.
It doesn't.
Survival mode can look like:
• Constant overthinking
• People-pleasing
• Always staying busy
• Feeling numb
• Chasing relationships or success to feel "enough"
• Escaping through substances, work, food, social media, or distraction
Eventually, it becomes so familiar that we mistake it for our personality.
The truth is...
You were never meant to live from fear.
Healing isn't becoming someone new.
It's remembering who you were before fear convinced you to survive instead of truly live.
