Hello! And starting out

Hi, I’m Diane, and I’m a book editor, copywriter and soon to be published author. I was inspired by interviewing other business owners in copy briefs and decided to start a podcast so others could learn these amazing inspiring lessons, too.

I don’t even have all the fancy stuff like monetization, video editing, and expensive equipment on my mind yet.

People make whole businesses out of this, and that sounds great maybe later as I continue to grow my personal brand. But so far, I wanted to just start this podcast and help entrepreneurs.

So far I have my YouTube channel and Spotify for Podcasters, I was going to grab an inexpensive mic from Amazon.

But everywhere I start, I think of questions that come up. Things I didn’t think about before that I have to decide.

At this point, it’s intros and outros. Logos. YouTube thumbnails. Public domain music. I don’t know anything about mixing or editing this stuff.

Will it be the worst thing if I start without all the frills?

What do I need bare bones to really get started?

Then what do I need to consider as I get better at this later, step by step?
