Full Stack Professional Roadmap CI/CD question

I have a question about the CD portion of the CICD step of the Professional Full Stack roadmap option, hoping to get a answer.
The step using ssh to connect to the EC2 instance is using an amazon ami but I thought thru ought the tuturials we had setup the EC2 instance to use an ubuntu ami.
I'm now on a step that says to use ec2user@ip_address rather than ubuntu@ip_address to SSH in.
What am I missing ?
