The First Step of Faith: Trusting God Through Obedience
Every day presents opportunities to choose faith over fear. While uncertainty often raises questions and fuels doubt, God invites us to trust His wisdom even when we cannot see the outcome. Genuine faith is expressed through obedience—taking the next step because we know the One who leads us is faithful. Like Abraham, we are called to respond to God’s direction with confidence rather than hesitation. As we spend time in prayer and immerse ourselves in God’s Word, our hearts become anchored in His character, making it easier to trust Him in every season.
Today, choose obedience over uncertainty, knowing that God sees your needs, understands your heart, and never fails those who place their confidence in Him.
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5–6
“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” — Hebrews 11:1
