What if that a product lots of videos already, and your video does not get posted on "either" carousels? Does that means your video never has a chance of making money?
A friend said "I've made some videos but I am getting discouraged and lost with what to shoot next to get any movement in earning. I am also getting overwhelmed with all the new info about this program and the changes.
I told the person to just go make a video of the Peanut Butter Jar in the cup board.
My Answer:
I will say this with Kindness (or Tough Love), so take it that way. Please control what you can control. My peanut butter example is a bit silly, BUT if it takes you 5 minutes to make a video, you will gain a lot of things from it. You will move one step closer to 300 videos (Magic seems to unlock at 300). You will have a video that might just make a few cents here and there. You may find a new CC campaign for a product other than PB. You may get featured on an Amazon ad. You may be able to be the only video in a box of PB that is 48 units and sells for 300 dollars with a big commission. You may or may not get put on the upper or lower, or related products. Quality videos rise to the top even if the spots are all full. So don't worry about the negative "What if's". I have made 4-5 videos for the Stanley mug, the most saturated product on AMZ every day. Guess what? I have sold a few and made a few commissions. This makes me laugh. So make a few more videos and you will start making a few more commissions.
