Styling Tips
When styling your locs, it’s important to be gentle with your edges. As the locs get longer (fuller over time), this could add some tension, and your edges could be at risk, especially if your locs are fragile or too thin along the hairline. To avoid balding or concerns about applying too much tension that could potentially lead to loc breakage, and traction alopecia consider wearing the following for all loc types…
• Looser styling around edges
• Long-lasting styles with less manipulation (protective styles)
•Braid loc styles (no extensions)
•Twist loc styles (no extensions)
• Simply styling with curls
•Braid out styles
