"Comparison is a great tool for MEASUREMENT, not JUDGEMENT."
Such a great conversation between Aubrey Marcus and Alex Hormozi. It's a perfect blend of "woo-woo" and business strategy/mindset with actionable items. There's a really great point in the convo that Hormozi talks about using comparison as a tool for measurement rather than judgement. We've all heard, "Comparison is the thief of joy," but I think comparison can play a valuable role that offers great insight. In other words, asking: "What are they doing better than me that is getting them results that I want?" On a basic human level, yes, we are all the same, but our actions and activities are not. We are no "better" than the next person, but juxtaposing our inputs/outputs and results can create huge learning opportunities. After watching someone succeed in an area you want to improve, what do you typically do FIRST?
