Lately, I’ve been testing Claude AI to replicate institutional-style workflows:

• Risk scenario analysis (bull / base / bear)
• Competitive moat analysis
• Portfolio allocation logic
• Investment committee-style memos
Claude is strong at:
– Long-form structured reports
– Clean formatting
– Step-by-step valuation logic
– Breaking down financial statements clearly
But here’s the key:
AI does not replace due diligence.
It enhances structured thinking.
You still need:
• Real financial data
• Verified numbers
• Clear assumptions
• Risk discipline
The edge isn’t “using AI.”
The edge is knowing how to structure the prompt like an analyst.
