Akaraka (“destiny, hand-in-hand” in Igbo) is where members step into their callings and towards goals of mutual uplift - guided by faith, integrity, and shared prosperity.
Ubuntu, a Zulu word for humanity, translates to “I am because we are”. In line with the teachings of Jesus (originally known as the Way), it emphasizes the holiness of showing empathy, dignity, and charity to those we can be a positive example for.
The “lifebelt” is an economic model that balances basic human needs within the limits of cultural and ecological stability. In a world of rapid change, we need this stability to insure humanity survives oligarchy and resource depletion.
This is a “longtermist” community that considers how our legacy of global stewardship (or lack thereof) will impact our descendants. We are planting seeds that may not all bear fruit in our lifetimes.
I welcome you to become one of our Creators. Basic membership will always be free, and we will discuss how our gifts may serve the most people.
