Soooo many people are super mad at GPT-5...

What's your early take?

First, it always takes time for a new model to "get up to speed" and understand you. I'm not in love with GPT-5 -- yet. Because I use CustomGPTs that are trained on my voice and projects that also have GPT-like instrucitons, I keep reminding it: "stop sounding some much like a boring AI response and make it sound like me."

That said...

this morning when she told me that you could go into your "SETTINGS" and toggle on "Show Legacy Models" in the general tab.

This will allow you to switch to 4o model if you've lost your patience with GPT5.
