Hey y'all! I currently 'identify' as an AI Developer... A bit about that journey.
I'm a former non-profit CTO turned founding Board Member for rescuing enslaved Christians in Pakistani Brick Kilns (amongst other things) called Rescue the Persecuted Inc.
I graduated college with a BS in Comp Sci - coding mostly in C for projects, and remain connected to that coding language through an open source project called 'Luminari MUD.'
To pay the bills, because non-profit work is the opposite of income, I worked as a web developer founding a company called Apex Web Services LLC along with various part time day jobs.
I'm a citizen of both USA (Arizona) and Israel, but 90% of my time is in Israel where my 5 beautiful kids live. So with the onset of CoVid our non-profit got devastated, we lost the few volunteers we had, and most of our donors stopped responding. I took on serious debt to keep her afloat between then and now.
Along with that financial issue, I saw the potential to replace volunteers and advocate for our cause using AI.. So, about 7 months ago I began my transition into AI development with the signing up to Jack's Skool community and enrollment in IBM's AI Developer Certification program.
This is getting long, but needless to say, I am both humbled and proud of what I have accomplished as far as learning and solution creation. If interested in hearing more, happy to share!
