Understanding the Assignment
Natural problems call for natural solutions. Spiritual problems call for spiritual solutions. Christian leaders must be spiritual health practitioners who administer the healing balm of Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit to vanquish the works of darkness which oppress and ensnare humanity.
Jesus not only delivers us from eternal penalty of sin by His atoning blood which was shed for us on the cross, He also delivers us from its harmful effects in this life. Such is the God that we ought to preach and exhibit as Christian leaders. He heals, delivers, and restores the souls of men and women with surgical precision. Such is the God that the world desperately needs to experience.
May the hand of God be with you as it was with the early apostles to perform great wonders through you for restoration of individuals, families, communities, and nations, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
