Updates to STL Buddy
Hey everyone — quick update I’ve been working on behind the scenes.
STL Buddy just got a pretty big upgrade.
We now have two full customizers built into the platform:
• FlexiMaker (custom flexi animals/dinosaurs)
• Mandalorian-style helmet customizer
And just to be clear — this was always the vision.
STL Buddy was never meant to just be an image-to-3D generator.
The goal has always been to make it as easy as possible for anyone to create their own STL files… without needing to learn Blender or CAD.
That’s what these customizers are.
You just go in, click through options, and build something that’s actually yours.
Both tools are completely free to play with.
You can go in right now, test combinations, experiment, and see what you can come up with.
If you want to download your design:
• FlexiMaker = 10 credits per download
• Helmet customizer = 30 credits per download
And for those of you who plan on actually using this consistently:
There’s now an unlimited option:
• $20/month → unlimited downloads for both customizers
• $60/month → unlimited downloads + commercial license (so you can sell prints)
If you’re into 3D printing, this is honestly one of the easiest ways to start creating your own products without spending months learning modeling software.
