I’ve been testing both tools side-by-side this week, and these two images show it better than any review ever could
Both images have used exact same prompt
📸 Image 1 → Nano Banana Pro 4K
📸 Image 2 → Midjourney
MidJourney is still insane for creativity, concepting and stylised portrait work… but Nano Banana Pro 4K has stepped into a different category
It isn’t just generating images — it’s behaving like a full photography engine
Here’s what stood out immediately:
• Skin texture is cleaner and more natural
• Lighting behaves like a real sensor instead of “AI light”
• Camera depth and detail look closer to a Sony/Canon mirrorless shot
• Noise handling and micro-detail realism are way ahead
• 4K output actually looks like real 4K, not upscaled noise
Yes, Nano Banana Pro costs a little more right now… but the quality jump is real
If you create anything for clients, ads, thumbnails, courses or brand visuals, this kind of realism is a genuine advantage
I’ll keep testing both and sharing comparisons so we can see how each one evolves — but today, Nano Banana Pro is comfortably ahead in pure realism
What do you think when you compare the two? 👇
