Hey Skool Fam 👋,
Just wrapped up a fun little experiment — I generated this 15-second clip using only AI tools (no traditional animation, no drawing tablets, no After Effects… just prompts!).
🎬 **What’s happening here?**
- Rick Sanchez (from *Rick and Morty*) is holding two sci-fi guns.
- An anime-style witch is casting a spell with a glowing staff.
- Behind them? A massive explosion + a green portal (classic Rick vibes).
- Speech bubbles pop in — “EXPLOSION!” and “LAZY…” — to give it that comic-book energy.
🎯 **Why I made this:**
I wanted to test how well AI can handle:
- Character consistency (Rick’s face stays recognizable!)
- Dynamic action (explosions, motion blur, poses)
- Style blending (cartoon + anime + comic book)
- Adding text overlays (speech bubbles!)
It’s not perfect — but it’s *alive*. And that’s what matters when you’re learning.
💡 **Want to try this yourself?**
Here’s the core prompt I used (simplified for beginners):
> “Anime-style girl wizard in red outfit and pointy hat, holding glowing purple staff, standing next to Rick Sanchez from Rick and Morty who is holding two sci-fi guns. Behind them is a giant explosion and a swirling green portal. Comic book style, dynamic pose, speech bubble saying ‘EXPLOSION!’”
You can tweak it: swap characters, change the background, add sound effects later!
👇 **Your Turn:**
Reply with your own crossover idea — e.g., “SpongeBob vs. Thanos” or “Mickey Mouse in Cyberpunk” — and I’ll pick 3 to generate next week as a group challenge!
Let me know if you want me to break down the exact tools I used (Pika? Runway? Sora?) or how I added the speech bubbles. Happy to dive deeper!
