Why I stopped chasing viral and started building systems (and what happened next)
For 3 months I was obsessed with going viral.
Tried every hook formula. Studied trending posts. Posted at "optimal times." Chased the algorithm.
Result: 2 posts over 1,000 views. Zero sales from either.
Then I gave up on viral and built a system instead.
Posted the same type of content every day. Same format. Same CTA. Same affiliate link.
Month 1 of the system: 8 sales.
Month 2: 17 sales.
Month 3: 31 sales.
The viral posts got attention. The system got sales.
Attention is not the same as trust. And trust is what converts.
When someone sees your content 12 times over 3 weeks, they don't need convincing. They just need a reason to click.
Stop trying to go viral. Start trying to be consistent.
