The People Connection
As January comes to an end, one thing has become very clear to me: hard work matters, but who you’re connected to can save you years of it.
This month reminded me that progress isn’t just about grinding harder. It’s about learning from people who’ve already walked the path, asking better questions, and being open to guidance.
A few simple shifts that helped improve my financial life:
- I stopped trying to figure everything out alone
- I listened more to people doing what I wanted to do
- I focused on systems and habits, not quick wins
- I stayed around conversations that stretch my thinking
None of this is flashy. But it’s been powerful.
