My Honest Review of Galaxy.AI
Hello Fellow fans of AI! I wanted to take the time to write out a thoughtful/honest review. I would be happy to help with any questions anyone has. I am going to share a few videos that I made just messing around. This is going to be a LONG post, but I promise it is worth it. I have messed around with a lot of AI programs/providers and was really on the fence about Galaxy AI. I am going to give you all the information I wish I had going in. I would still have bought it all the same, but I want everyone to know the real deal.
1) Galaxy AI is owned by Samsung to my understanding. They have a decent following and seem to be fairly secure in terms of staying afloat. You can go to Galaxy.AI to make an account. Right now they have a free membership for 1 month for you to try it out. If you would like to help me out, you can instead sign up with my Affiliate code. You even earn some just when someone clicks it. You totally don't have to use my link though, as this is intended to not be so much a sells pitch as me just being 100 percent with you all as I always would want.
2) Galaxy is actually honest in their ads. You really do get close to 3k different models to choose from. That means a good amount of these are pretty trash. You do get VEO 3.1 and Sora 2 Pro. I see a lot of people trying to say "these are not the full tools, etc". This is wrong. Galaxy does give you the full on API.
3) They give you Chatgpt, but DO NOT waste your credits using Chat from your Galaxy account. Just use normal Chatgpt. You can get a free trail of plus right now if you wanted. They recently started trying to compete harder with Gronk in the AI wars, so both GPT and Gronk pretty well give you the full deal for free just with limits. The bulk of what you would want to do, you can do with the free application they provide. Use galaxy for the bigger stuff that is more unique.
4) We all love a good AI video, and as mentioned Galaxy gives you the real deal. It is still in a way limited though. The credit usage to make one is a little steep. They do not offer free retakes for most video applications. The cartoon ones you can make a lot of. These are the classic "meow meow wow" videos with the cats we all want to hit our heads against our keyboards when we see them. Inconsistent characters unless you generate several, but free alters and you don't get charged much at all or any if you don't actually finish creating it/rendering it. Then it is a fraction of your points. Like .05 million. (Yes, they have everything setup in millions so they can charge a fraction of a cent basically for some stuff, which is cool, but also I hate it. Makes for just stupid big numbers).
5) Life time is 499 dollars 1 time. Paid is currently 15 dollars a month but is set to go up. You get paid for using your affiliate link, which you should share in all your videos honestly. Even the CPM is something. Not saying you will get rich off it, but hey its something. 10 dollar cash out isn't too hard to hit. You get daily login rewards where you do a stupid scratch off game lol, then you are given credits. This can range for a few 100k to a few million. With lifetime you get 100 million credits, which is 100 dollar value, plus your 15 million a month. It builds and stacks so if you forget it exists for a bit, you didn't lose anything.
6) Sora/VEO cost you 2-3 million credits per video if you max their settings. They have the fast model and the 720 P export option for cheaper results that still work. DO NOT waste your credits trying to make your picture talk or make an avatar of yourself. They have much cheaper options. They also have the AI that takes two people and makes them kiss like you see on FB everywhere lol.
7) Their models are the full models with the current stuff from what I can tell. The issue is that they do not have some of the really nice features other providers have that are 100 percent just video generation, such as consistent characters for Sora 2. This would be the more complex projects, but they should add this at some point. You can get the full juiced model with consistent characters, but that costs significantly more than this. You would get more generations though.
The quick version: 1) Gives you all the tools you can dream of. 2) Fantastic price for what it gives. 3) Sora and Veo limited somewhat compared to the big time subscription services that solely focus on video, but this should keep getting better. 4) You can still make this work using Filmore or some other editing programs and splicing it together. It does offer video to video to try and keep consistency. I will go into ways to make this work when I get into my course on AI. Finishing my writing section up. 5) All the ways they let you earn free credits+ 15 million they give per month, you honestly can end up making a generous amount when you compare it to other providers. You just have to be a bit more active with it. Read the guides and tutorials on there to not accidently waste some credits. Let me share my videos below!
Some of these videos turned out super bad. I had 1 turn out alright. Still useful and you can always make edits. This is just to show you the power and that it is the full application. I wouldn’t recommend anything I don’t believe in myself and I feel this is a solid investment to add to your toolbox. I just hope they keep updating with it.
