GPT Custom Instructions Versus AI Agent Custom Instructions
Question: What framework or template do you use to create custom instructions for GPTs and AI Agents?
Let me give you some context for my question. I have reversed engineer some GPTs I purchased so I could learn how to write custom instructions for my own GPTs but I have not written custom instructions for an AI Agent yet.
I was watching Drake at https://www.youtube.com/@ai-foundations on how to craft custom instructions for AI Agents that he is building in n8n.io. He is using a simple template that he creates in XML with the following format:
Role
Goal
Instructions
Example
Of course there is more underneath each component that has the specifics for each AI Agent he is creating.
I used ChatGPT 03 mini to ask it for the different types of frameworks that could be used to write custom instructions for GPTs and AI Agents, see attached image by clicking on it.
