Should I quit?
With regards to my last post, I went to check my design on Etsy and found 15-20 copycats that simply just took my design and ran in it a AI software to create the same design only slightly different. Etsy is already difficult and now we must deal with sellers screenshotting our work and copycats. It poses a question in my head: should I just quit?
If I put the work in, like I’ve done and find good keywords, create flawless designs, flawless listings they are just stolen. It seems like if I get a bestseller I run the risk of 15-20 if not more sellers just stealing my designs. It seems like you cannot win. What are everyone’s thoughts? I wonder if this is why a lot of successful Etsy sellers move to YouTube to help others sell instead. Some insight would be nice! I need this income but cannot compete with copy cats on the daily…
