Let’s be honest — most Etsy “bestsellers” aren’t the prettiest, cheapest, or even the most original designs.
✅They just tick a few very specific boxes.
And once you know what those boxes are… it’s game over (in the best way).
Here’s what I’ve learned after turning 1000s of simple AI designs into bestsellers over and over again:
1️⃣ Start with a bestseller mindset.
Etsy rewards performance — not perfection.
Your listing needs clicks, favorites, and conversions fast. That means on-trend designs, solid SEO, and mockups that stop the scroll.
2️⃣ Research smarter, not longer.
I use tools like Profit Tree to spy on what’s actually selling right now — not what some random YouTuber “thinks” might sell.😏That's why in my videos, I'm always using a tool to show me...Look for products with high sales + low competition. You’ll start spotting patterns — the pricing, bundle types, and aesthetics that convert.
3️⃣ Add your unique spin.
This is where AI come in. But don’t copy — improve.
Example: Cross-niche the design style or aesthetic, add different elements or color palettes, change the quote/saying
4️⃣ Optimize like a pro.
Your SEO, titles, and mockups should work together like a tiny digital sales team.
If you’re not using data-backed keywords, you’re basically just tossing listings into space.
