From 30 min to 10 sec: How I automated my B2B proposals using n8n
Hi everyone,
I wanted to share a quick deep dive into a workflow that has been a total game-changer for me (and my early testers).
The Problem: We’ve all been there—the sales call ends, and now the paperwork begins. Manually typing out data, calculating prices, formatting PDFs… This used to take me at least 30 minutes per lead.
My Solution (n8n + OpenAI): I built a workflow that handles the entire heavy lifting:
  1. Trigger: New lead marked in Notion/HubSpot.
  2. AI Analysis: OpenAI scans the call notes and extracts specific pain points.
  3. Doc Gen: Google Docs (or PandaDoc) automatically generates the finished proposal with personalized copy.
  4. Final Check: I get a Slack notification with the direct link to the PDF.
The Result: I just do a quick final review and hit "send." Total time spent: Under 10 seconds.
