- Yoshua Bengio and Geoffrey Hinton ("Godfathers of AI") signed a letter demanding governments ban superintelligence development. Yes, the guys who invented this stuff now want it stopped before it kills us all.
- The creators are literally begging us to stop. Meanwhile, Sam Altman is probably in a bunker somewhere whispering "just one more parameter update." (source)
