New lesson: the setup I run all my Claude Code sessions in now

I've officially moved off Cursor and Zed, and off the pile of terminal windows you've seen in my older videos.

What I use now is cmux. Free, open source, Mac only. Go grab it at cmux.com whether or not you watch anything else here.

What sold me is seeing which Claude Code sessions have finished and are waiting on me versus which are still running, across every project, without hunting through windows.

New lesson is up in the CLAUDE CODE module: Use CMUX Instead (Aug 2026). It covers the configuration, which is the part that actually takes work:

- The sidebar, with projects color-coded and pinned into your own columns

- Splitting the screen to run several sessions in one project

- Letting Claude Code do the setup for you from a skill

- The one caveat that catches people. Never close your last session in a project, or you lose the project.
