Podcast to Content Pipeline Automation with Make.com
Imagine publishing a podcast and instantly having transcripts, articles, and videos ready to go. That was the dream of a content creator I worked with, now it’s their reality.
The Challenge
The client produces regular podcast episodes but struggled to repurpose the content efficiently. Transcripts, SEO articles, show notes, it was all done manually, delaying distribution and draining energy.
The Solution
With Make.com, I created a seamless workflow that starts from Dropbox (where the audio is uploaded), sends the file to AssemblyAI for transcription, uses ChatGPT to generate various content formats (articles, show notes, SEO posts), and distributes everything to Google Docs and back to Dropbox.
The Tools
  • Make.com
  • Dropbox
  • AssemblyAI
  • ChatGPT (via OpenAI module)
  • Google Docs
  • HeyGen (for turning content into video prompts)
The Hurdles
One challenge was managing file iteration and ensuring the AI-generated content matched the client’s tone. I solved this by integrating an iterator and building a feedback loop for refining outputs.
✅ The Outcome
A fully automated content engine. What used to take 2-3 days of manual work now takes less than 30 minutes post-upload. The client now focuses on creation, not formatting. They called it "the best workflow investment I’ve made this year."
Who Needs This?
Podcasters, content creators, agencies, and marketing teams looking to scale their content without increasing workload.
Got a content process that feels heavy? Let’s simplify it.
