- What do you want your life to look like in 5 to 10 years? Describe it in detail. Where do you live, what do you do, how do you feel, who are you?
- Who do you want to become? Not what you want to have — who do you want to be?
2036, I'm 45 years old.
I am very healthy and active. I wake up next to my husband with my 11-year-old in the next room. I wake up with energy and am proud of myself when I look in the mirror. I put my exercise clothes on, loose pants with a loose shirt, brush my teeth, and head out the door. It's spring, so it's nice, I can walk outside; it's about 5:30 am
After my walk, I arrive and make myself a cold aloe drink and start the water for tea. I sit down to drink my tea in my living room nook, surrounded by books, and pray. I love this time of day.
Soon enough, Sophia comes down, and we have breakfast. My phone is put away, and we talk and make a yummy breakfast. I drink my protein shake and start on an omlet. Today is Tuesday, and she has mandarin school today. Ricky will drive her before he goes to work. He just started working at the college, so it's nice they get to ride into the city together. She's going to the Wheeler school and he's starting out at Brown.
I stay home on Tuesdays, but I'm still posting in this group. I've had 10 years of habits at this point. The group is 1000 people strong with a waiting list of 1500. I do create free content for those on the waiting list. We've helped transform lives, this community has been key in creating the dicipline muscle.
I used it to get in shape back in 2026. It was incredible. I had lost like 12 pounds until June and then I lost the remaining 36 pounds before end of year. It was a fun christmas, I went out and bought myself a new wardrobe.
It helped me get through school, an associate's, bachelors and a master's. I now consult in public policy for multiple firms. I will post in this group today, do a couple of intro calls for 2 new community members and then start researching the policy we are discussing at the end of the week.
My mom lives down the street. I'll go have lunch with her today and then she and her husband will come over for dinner. Having her move here was the best thing we ever did. They are happy and she's managing the airbnb downtown. They are doing a great job with that.
My husband and Sophie get back at 4:30 so there's a lot to do before then. I love my life.
