Week 3 security vs freedom and how I resonate with it
Security would be to have a steady job and a predictable routine life and pursue the traditional pathway that most people are taught to follow: study -> corporate job -> retire.
During my time before university, I spent time discovering what I'm passionate about. I realized that even though I have good grades and could get a steady paying corporate job in the field I choose, I would rather have my own life coaching business and pursue my passion in triathlons simulataneously.
Living the life of my dreams even if it's risky because of the freedom it would provide me to live in the way I "want" to live it rather than "need".
Another overlooked benefit is the productivity boost you get from pursuing work that you are truly passionate about rather than a job you dread. The energy you feel on a daily basis and the intrinsic motivation you will have will naturally drive you to continue 10xing and will provide you an unrivaled sense of self fullfillment.
