I am notoriously behind and always running late. I want to be prepared but realistically, I know myself. This is what I do for work... I often bring a few ingredients in a container and then just put together the most beautiful lunches at work. I like things fresh and cut up into little pieces for my salads so this method works out really well for me. I keep a few staples like salad dressing and pickles in the fridge as well I also bulk buy tuna and keep a desk drawer full for those days when I was really behind and didn't grab anything. I am focused on keeping track of my macros (I NEED ALL THE PROTEIN) so one other handy thing I keep in my desk is a spoon scale. I am having smoked salmon again today and it is soooo damn yummy!!!
