Phishers use various tactics to trick you. Some common ones include:
- *Spoofing*: Fake emails or websites that look legit
- *Social Engineering*: Manipulating you into divulging sensitive info
- *Urgency*: Creating a sense of panic to prompt action
- *Familiarity*: Using trusted brands or names to gain trust
Real-Life Example
I received an email claiming to be from a delivery company, asking that I confirm my details where us the details sent was wrong. The email also asks me to "verify" my account info to have access to an offer. See below picture

Be cautious of emails or messages that create a sense of urgency. Take a moment to verify the request before acting.
