The Energetic Ground the Town Square is Being Built On
Dear Town Square community,
This video of my talk below is a repost from the Align Entrepreneur Network community, but because I know all of you more than the members there, and you know me more, I can be more honest and open about this short talk I did about "The Future Human," which is really just a more balanced, whole, and integrated human.
I'm reposting this and sharing it again in case you want to tune in. This is what I believe is coming, what I believe is emerging. I feel called to gather people who are energetically aligned.
I really do believe that we're not just starting a community, we're starting a movement. A movement starts small, and for those who have been connecting with me, having conversations with me, or have been connected with other members, there's a felt sense that there's something special going on. I sense it too, and I'm grateful for all of you for being here.
If you're curious to hear from me what I actually believe and what I actually feel, this is it. Part of the vision of this community is that you don't have to be as uncomfortable being vulnerable when you're with the right people.
I even said at the start of my talk... that the easiest and hardest thing in the world... is to be yourself, but it's easier when you're with the right people, and that's what I'm looking to cultivate within this community.
Personal growth only goes so far on your own. Personal growth doesn't happen with surface-level connections. It requires intentionality and patience, and being a grounded individual who is capable of "seeing others" and also "being seen." This is my message. I believe community IS the future of what people really need, especially entrepreneurs, especially online entrepreneurs.
And I don't think there are many communities online that have figured this out... but that's what we're doing.
If you're curious at all about what I'm talking about... give this talk a listen, give it a watch. As the leader of the leaders here, as the steward of the members of this community, this IS some of my vision, some of what I want to create for others. I can't create it alone. My mission for people to connect with themselves and others, so that we become better versions of ourselves... I can only do so much on my own. And that's true for all of us, there's only so much we can do alone.
There's an expansive energy of goodwill, compassion, and heart that is more powerful in community with the right-aligned individuals, and it's coming together. I sense it, I feel it, and it's why I'm going to continue growing this, co-creating this, cultivating this, and assembling this, because this is what I believe I'm here for. This is not just a membership. This is what I believe is me answering a calling to create transformative change for purpose-driven individuals through the experience of a community that is truer to what the word "community" used to mean. It's really as simple as just having connections and relationships that support self-understanding and understanding others.
What we're doing here is super simple, but it does take time, intention, patience, and openness.
This speech-to-text message is longer than I thought it would be... but oh well, that's what came out.
