As we approach Budget week I have a challenge for you that might be tricky, but bear with me...
I have a very successful speaker friend who as part of his presentations to business people, challenges them to stop moaning and complaining about ANYTHING for a whole week.
It sounds like it might be easy, but when you take up the challenge you will inevitably catch yourself doing it - and when you do you have to start your seven days again. But you soon get the hang of it, and what a difference it makes...
So what happens when you get through your week?
Quite rapidly you experience:
- Increased self-awareness
- Shift in mindset
- Enhanced emotional regulation
- Improved relationships
- Boosted mental wellbeing
- Increased problem-solving skills
- Strengthened personal accountability
- Creates a cycle of positivity

Adopting #nocomplaining can be transformative. Here's what one person told me after doing this:
"This has been simply incredible! I feel so much better, new opportunities have come my way, and life is just so much happier. It affects everything - work, family, all of it. Yes some things are tough to crack, but if they affect me, I’ll keep at it until I crack them! Also, you really start to notice how the people around you influence whether you're positive or negative. Thank you so much."
My friend points out that it is OK to complain... but when you find yourself doing it, stop the clock and start again. It's 7 consecutive days you need.
Let us know in this thread how you get on...
