Roles of the Senior Pastor & Executive Pastor
Visionary and Integrator are healthy roles for a Senior Pastor and his Executive Pastor.
The SP owns developing and communicating a clear vision for the church.
The EP owns the strategic, operational, and tactical steps to make it happen.
Visionaries who get into the integrator’s lane with good intentions to “help out” or make sure things meet his standards are just as detrimental as integrators developing their own organizational vision.
Both need to stay in their lanes and focus own doing their role well.
