Before we talk about the energy of the week ahead, I want us to take a conscious moment of pause today.
Here in Ontario today we’re experiencing our first thunder and lightning storm of the season. The rain is coming down instead of snow, and if you really sit with that for a moment, you can feel the shift that’s happening.
Winter is loosening its grip.
This is one of my favorite energetic markers of the changing season — not the calendar, but the storm that wakes the earth back up.
Thunder and lightning carry powerful energy.
Lightning clears.
Thunder activates.
Rain cleanses.
The rain begins the process of washing away the gray, the dirt, and the heaviness of winter.
Soon the ground will soften.
Soon the buds will start to form.
Soon the greens will begin returning.
But nature always reminds us of something important:
There is beauty and purpose in every season.
Even winter — the quietest and most dormant season — still gives.
Right now across Ontario the maple trees are preparing to flow. The conditions are almost right. With these warmer days and cold nights continuing, the sap will begin moving soon and the season of maple syrup will start.
Mother Earth — Gaia — Source — the Universe — whatever name resonates for you — is always giving.
Every season holds medicine.
Every phase has purpose.
Sometimes it looks like growth.
Sometimes it looks like rest.
Sometimes it looks like storms.
But it is always moving.
🌬️ Energetic Theme for the Week Ahead
The storm energy we’re experiencing right now actually reflects the energetic tone of the coming week.
This week carries clearing and activation energy.
Many people may feel:
• emotional releases
• sudden clarity about decisions
• motivation returning after a slower winter period
• the urge to clean, organize, or reset parts of life
• inspiration around projects or ideas that have been quietly waiting
Think of it like this:
The rain clears the ground so new things can grow.
Energetically, many of us may feel the same thing happening internally.
Old thoughts.
Old patterns.
Old doubts.
They may begin washing away so something new can take root.
But just like in nature, the storm usually comes before the bloom.
So if you feel emotional, restless, or reflective this week — don’t resist it.
Often that is the clearing phase.
🌱 How This Energy Is Showing Up For Me
For me personally, I can feel this spring activation already.
Over the last week I’ve had this strong urge to purge and clean my house, so spring cleaning is fully underway over here.
It feels like making space — physically and energetically.
We’re also about to head out on another family adventure, which always brings a sense of fresh perspective and reset.
And interestingly enough, I’ve also started two brand-new projects.
The first one I’ll be announcing shortly 👀
The second one was something completely new for me — I made kombucha for the first time, and I’ll post some photos of that in here as well.
So for me, spring energy is already showing up as movement, creation, clearing, and new beginnings.
Nature is activating… and I can feel the same thing happening internally.
🌿 Reflection For The Week
Ask yourself:
What in my life is ready to be washed away so something new can grow?
And also:
What seeds have I quietly planted that might be ready to start sprouting this spring?
Take a moment today, if you can, to listen to the rain.
Feel the shift in the air.
Nature is reminding us that change is already underway.
And just like the earth, we move through cycles of rest, clearing, and renewal.
✨
How is this energy showing up for you right now?
Are you feeling the urge to clean, create, start something new, or slow down before the next season begins?
I’d love to hear what this transition into spring is activating for you.
