BUILDING TRUST IS A PRIORITY
As a Christian counselor, I believe trust is not built through titles, degrees, or perfect words.
Trust begins when someone feels safe enough to be honest.
For many years, I struggled with mental health, bipolar disorder, addiction, and suicidal thoughts. I know what it feels like to carry pain in silence and wear a mask so no one sees what is really happening inside.
That is why I believe people need to feel:
• Heard without judgment• Seen beyond their diagnosis• Safe enough to be honest• Reminded they still have value• Given truth with compassion
Faith matters in the healing process — not as pressure, not as a weapon, but as hope.
Jesus moved toward people’s pain with compassion, patience, and truth.
“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” — Galatians 6:2
Trust takes time. But sometimes trust is the first step toward healing.
