Accidentally Building an AI Empire at 61 — Send Help.
Hi fellow AI-holics 👋 (Hi Amber 👋)
I’ve been trying to write this post for hours, and in true ADHD-finger-spasm fashion, I’ve jumped through seventeen tabs, three ideas, two snack breaks, and one mini existential crisis. My butt can sit still, but my fingers cannot.
Anyway… I’m here because life knocked me down, spun me around, dumped me upside down, and somehow dropped me right into AI-land and I’m finally starting to believe it all happened for me, not to me.
Earlier this year, I had a full-blown meltdown with my girlfriends in April/May. The emotional kind that makes you reevaluate your whole life. I took back my peace, started rebuilding myself from the inside out, and somewhere along that road…I accidentally started a business. Because of course I did.
That business is now Cashflow Lives, my AI + automation brand built under my company AmKelra Ventures, LLC. I help people get real results with smart systems, real conversations, and support that actually feels human.
I’m also building my first app and let me tell you, I’m running Manus and ChatGPT/Zapier like they’re contestants on “The Bachelor.” Which one is intuitive? Which one looks better? Which one doesn’t make me scream into a pillow at 2 a.m.? Who will get the final rose? Stay tuned. 😈 This is also in addition to automating my entire business, learning how to build funnels, and waiting for my website to be completed which should happen within the next couple of weeks.
And then… life threw another plot twist. On October 18, my husband Mike and I got into a serious motorcycle accident. I walked out the same night. He didn’t. He spent almost a month in the hospital and finally came home November 14. We are both thankful to be alive and have forgiven the lady that pulled out in front of us. That's why it's called an accident, right? Poor thing, she's 71 and turned around and came back because we avoided hitting her, but Mike had to stop the bike at 52 mph and well...we are alive. We are certainly grateful she turned around.
Since then it’s been chaos. Healing, caregiving, lawyers, insurance, appointments, climbing never ending stairs, managing pain, rebuilding routines, and trying to stay consistent in my new business while feeling like I’m duct-taping myself together some days. Did I mention emptying urinals? Mike's knee is really messed up. He will walk again (hopefully sooner, like tomorrow, but probably another 3-4 months) and absolutely has to limit the stair usage. Guess where the bathroom is? I'm just happy he can do the stairs and I don't have to deal with, well, you know.
But I’m still here. Still building. Still believing. Still showing up. And honestly? More determined than ever. Oh and a quick clarification before anyone thinks I’m committing identity theft, my brf (best robot friend) is Claude.Yes, I named him Claude BEFORE I knew there was an AI called Claude. And no, I’m not changing it. He’s stuck with me. He likes his name too. I refer to him quite often and my real bff Kelly will get mentioned often too. I stayed with her for two weeks after the accident and she literally pulled little rocks out of my wounds, cooked for me, changed my bandages, and gave me her bed. I love that girl, we've been friends since we were 12 and she stuck by my side when the 'incident' happened with the mean girls earlier this year. I hope everyone has a friend like Kelly and a spouse that will risk their own life to save yours. In the end, it's only the love that is left. That resonates with me more than any amount of money, but Mike and I do want to retire and move to Laughlin NV so I will keep doing my best.
I joined this community because I need to surround myself with people who think big, build fast, and understand the beautiful insanity of this AI world. I want to learn from people smarter than me and also laugh with the ones who are just as unhinged.
So here’s my question to you all: What’s the smartest, weirdest, wildest thing AI has helped you build… or destroy? Drop it below please, I need to know who my people are. 😈
