Still obsessed I see... :D As a previous "Will's rings guinea pig", I can confirm nothing helped me get stronger faster than rings did.
Evening...
Heyoo, Will asked me to introduce myself (not helpful as I'm awkward as fuck). So err, 34 years old, weird freelance tech journalist hybrid coffee roaster by trade, got into calisthenics in early 2023 aged 32, was massively unhealthy and overweight, went from 87 KG to 70 KG over 6 months thanks to training at home and diet management, and been addicted to it ever since. Float at about 75-77 KG currently in between bulks/cuts with the long-term goal of getting to about 80KG lean. Mostly focused on a mix of street lifting with some volume reps & sets stuff, with some accessory work thrown in, although every few months I'll get bored and chuck a static into the routine. Not pushing crazy weights yet, Dips at 40KG, Chin-up at 25KG, back-squat 60KG (very very new on that last one), and am soooo damn close to getting a clean no-kip muscle-up at BW it hurts :D Been an interesting year, started my weighted journey in January and progressed well up until August time, but recently took a step back and reduced the weights on all major movements so I could reset my form properly, to (hopefully) progress better, and safer, into the future as me and my tendons and joints age ^^
