The Trap of "Doing It All"
I used to believe that as a man on my own, I had to do everything. And that belief was costing me the one life I have. I can still picture those late nights, grinding away at the office. I was crushing my goals, and my bank account looked solid. I'd get home, toss my keys in the bowl, and the clink would just echo in the dark apartment. I was the one driving the mission, paying the bills, planning the future, and holding myself accountable. There was no one else to pick up the slack. I had optimized everything... except the man in the mirror. I was building this financial empire but my physical temple was crumbling. I was so focused on building a Vault for my future, I forgot to build a life for my present. That's a lonely, hollow feeling. I learned that "doing it all" doesn't mean you have to sacrifice yourself in the process. The real work isn't just building the Vault (your finances). It's building the Temple (your body) and the Chalice (your inner world) at the same time. When you're on your own, it's easy to feel like you're the only one in the fight. But you're not. This brotherhood is filled with men who are on that same path, forging their own destiny. We're all learning to build ourselves, for ourselves, right alongside you. 1. Where are you building your Vault (finances/career) at the expense of your Temple (health) or Chalice (mind)? 2. What is one small, non-negotiable action you will take for yourself this week, not for your goals, but for the man you are today? Your action today: Stop being just the architect for "future you." Look at your calendar. Block out 30 minutes this week for your Temple (a high-intensity workout) or your Chalice (strategic journaling). Treat it like the most important meeting you have. Hello
Hey Zac 👋 Thanks so much for the warm welcome — I’m really happy to be invited to this group, which I’m sure will be absolutely valuable to so many men. I work as a psychotherapist in England and also run a group of children’s homes for children who have suffered the effects of trauma. I’m looking forward to being part of the conversations here and making a difference together for ourselves, our families, and the wider world. 🙌

Welcome! My intention is that it is that and so much more. Sounds like youre doing incredible work and getting kids young so they can heal before they become adults. Such a blessing to have men like you helping them overcome. Whats one thing you want to accomplish before the year is over?

Congratulations! Sounds like that was a great way to give back to yourself on your Birthday!!
Introduce yourself and share 1 thing you want to achieve before 2026.
Hey guys! This is the place to introduce yourself. This is a judgement free zone. We are all here because we want more, better, different. This is a place to share your story so we all can get to know each other, find similarities, differences, common hobbies, goals and dreams. Lets come together and help each other become our best and grow. I believe vulnerability is important and having men to confide in makes a difference. Lets make this our space to be those men for others and become a brotherhood who take on this world together. I will be posting about myself and i look forward to seeing what everyone says about themselves. Tell us: Where are you from? 1 cool fact about your childhood? How many kids you have? What you do for work? What is a dream you've always held onto? What are the biggest 2 barriers holding you back? Why you joined? 1 thing you want to accomplish in the next 4 months? I know those are a few questions and it might seem like a lot. It will be easy when you do it and it will help you get it out and allow others to learn more about you. I will have more questions for us to discuss later. Welcome!

@Austin Lamb Hows it going? You getting closer to getting back in court for your son?
Egg Nog is upon us: you must choose discipline or temptation. Who wins this holiday season?
The Threat is Real. It's on aisle 5. The carton is green & red. The discipline challenge is upon you! The holidays are not a vacation from your goals. They are the Proving Ground for your discipline. Egg Nog isn't just a drink; it's a 400-calorie lie wrapped in nostalgia. It’s the first wave of temptation designed to make you soft. When you see that festive carton, two paths open: Vision or Vibe? * Vibe: You trade the vision of your long-term body for a 5-minute flavor high and a crippling sugar-crash hangover. * Vision: You choose control. You choose the feeling of being strong and in command. You've fought too hard to let a single liquid dessert derail your focus. THE FORGERS' COUNTER-ATTACK * Stop Calling It a Treat: Call it what it is: A massive dose of sugar and fat that pulls you off the track. A treat is something that supports your goals. * Use the 5-Second Rule: See it. Want it. PAUSE. In that 5-second gap, visualize the pain of having to re-earn the lost ground in the gym next month. Let the pain of regret be your shield. * The Better Nog Protocol (The Tactical Substitute): If the craving is truly overwhelming, you do not surrender—you substitute. You create a controlled weapon: * Vanilla Protein Powder * Unsweetened Almond Milk (or another low-calorie milk alternative) * Nutmeg/Cinnamon (The flavor hit without the fat) * A splash of actual Egg Nog (Optional: A teaspoon for psychological victory, not calorie surrender). You get the flavor signal without the body blow. You win the mental battle without sacrificing the experience. Discipline is not deprivation; it is smarter execution. Every single "No" to an obvious trap like commercial Egg Nog is a psychological victory. It builds mental muscle. It confirms your identity as someone who owns their choices. Discipline is choosing what serves your highest vision over your immediate craving. CHECK YOUR COMMITMENT. * Is your short-term craving louder than your long-term commitment right now?
