A Message To Consultants: Things are Changing
This is a message for Consultants. Specifically someone who sells coaching or a course to help people solve their problems. In 2022 I: - Spent two days in LA with Sam Ovens (on track to become billionaire) - Spoke with Alex Hormozi ($200m/year portfolio) - Spoke (and worked) with MrBeast (130m subscribers) - Spoke with Cole Gordon ($2,000,000/month) - Met Bas Slot in Lisbon twice ($1,000,000/month) My conclusion after all of this was simple: This industry is changing… The smartest people have noticed, and are already taking advantage of this shift. Everyone else will be left behind. Watch these clips (5-10 mins) to spot the shift. - Clip from Sam Ovens - Tweet from Alex Hormozi - Another tweet from Alex Hormozi - Clip from Cole Gordon (making $2m/m+) - Clip from All In Podcast (all four are Billionaires) - Clip from Alex Hormozi Watch those clips before reading on. They're short. Here's how I see things changing: - Direct Response → Brand - Ads → Content - Selling → Giving And to me, this is a GREAT SHIFT. Thank fuck this industry is FINALLY maturing. It's no longer enough to have flashy marketing and great sales skills. You have to build a brand. Over the past few months I’ve hinted at this shift quite a few times, and how I've used it to make $100,000/month profit (and sometimes even $90,000 in a day). I've made a: - 33 minute Loom video explaining this new model - 21 minute Loom video explaining how I got 600,000 subscribers using this model - Free course explaining how to build a great community - Loom video I sent to Alex Hormozi about using trends to grow an audience when he asked me to help him grow his YouTube - Notion page explaining the lessons I learned about YouTube growth from speaking with MrBeast - Google Doc explaining the content system that grows your audience in just two hours per week

Hahah love it.
WARNING: This post will make you powerful 🚨 Avoid The Progress Trap
EDIT: I turned this into a YouTube video: https://youtu.be/b0RffvCTXv8 WARNING: This post will increase your ability to make your dreams become reality. This is a belief that helped me go from a procrastinator to financially free in just four years. In exchange for this increase in power, this belief may decrease your happiness. It did for me. If this is not an exchange you're willing to make, I suggest you don't read on. You have been warned. Let me start by asking a couple questions: Over the past year, have you made some progress towards your goals? Have you improved your life in some way? Most will answer with yes. Feels good, right? You probably have this belief: "if I progress/practice/improve a little bit everyday, eventually I'll get what I want." Makes logical sense, right? But how long are you willing to wait? 5 years? 50 years? What if 60 years go by. You're on your deathbed. You sit, patiently waiting to get what you want, knowing you have spent your whole life improving. When suddenly the sickening realisation hits you... You've ran out of time. Here's the truth: Progress is a Means to an End. It is something that needs to happen in order for you to get what you want. But in a human's desperation to get what they want, when they hear "if you keep making progress, you'll get what you want", they latch onto 'Progress'. What used to be a Means to an End becomes the new End. They forget about what they truly want, so at the end of the day, if they have made Progress, they feel satisfied. But they are left without what they want. I see a few problems with this. First, you may be making progress, but are you progressing enough to get what you want? Arnold wants to become a bodybuilder. Arnold goes to the gym. Arnold does one set of bench press. He has made progress. Feeling proud of his progress, Arnold leaves the gym. Progress has been made, but has ENOUGH been made? Second, you may be making progress, but what if it's in the wrong areas? Jimmy wants to become the biggest YouTuber. He understands that better camera means better video. Jimmy spends months researching what's the best camera to use. Each day he makes progress towards figuring out the ultimate camera. He is making progress. But is he making progress in the very precise set of things he needs to be making progress on to reach his goal?

Epic man thanks for that.
To add value, goodwill, and authority... Use content to Break Beliefs
A business is often not capped by the perceived bottleneck. It's capped by either the skills, beliefs, or traits of the entrepreneur leading the business. --- Unfortunately, you can't gift someone skills, or traits... But you can gift someone new beliefs. How? Content. --- To add value, goodwill, and authority in your Niche... ... Create content that breaks unempowering beliefs, and replaces them with empowering beliefs.

@Andrew Kirby Sold!!!
anyone here a beast at selling or booking calls via the skool DMs?
anyone here a beast at selling or booking calls via the skool DMs? Is it fast? how is the delivery rates? how are your responses rates? is it a quick reply? How can we tell if they open the email notifications they get? is there something in the DMs that lets me know they have 'seen' my message? I plan on doing a lot of DM selling and booking calls so would be good to know if any DM wizards on here successfully use the DM's to book calls or sell products and services etc I usually do all my DM scripts on instagram and facebook messenger, so would be worth knowing if I should spend my time in skool DM's or just stick to the platforms I already use. Thanks in advance!
