Being homeless makes it hard to be productive. My brain gets fogged up and my hands become shaky. The air feels thick and my thoughts sink to the bottom of my mind.

I went through a traumatic event in 2018 which ruined me financially, physically and mentally for many years. Since then I feel like my progress as a career illustrator has stalled. Partly because I'm not making enough to get the gear I need, but mainly because the experience somehow left me less confident, less productive, and more fearful of producing bad work. Has anyone had a similar experience and how are you holding up?
